12th Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides, an Invitation from the Chairman
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is our privilege to invite you to the "12th Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides" which will be held, jointly with the 2nd Italy-Korea Symposium on Antimicrobial Peptides, in Napoli (Italy) at the Centro Congressi Federico II on June 4-7, 2010. The dates have been chosen so that there will be little interference with academic duties of participants and to give the opportunity to experience the warm weather of Napoli in late spring. The venue of the Workshop, is located in the centre of town on the seafront of Napoli.
The general theme of the joint meetings will be “Peptides at Work: from Structure to Applications”. Contributions on this theme, on antimicrobial peptides or closely related areas in peptides and/or protein chemistry are strongly encouraged. The Scientific Committee is trying to assemble a program that will cover the cutting edge of peptide researches ranging from chemistry, structure and function, biology, bioinformatics, clinical studies and pharmacology within the theme of the Workshop.
On behalf of the Scientific Committee and of the Co-Chairmen, Prof. K.-S. Hahm and Prof. L. Stella, it is my privilege to invite you to participate to the "12th Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides" and submit a contribution on the themes of the workshop or on closely related areas.
A web site has been set at cirpeb.unina.it/naples2010, where all information on the Workshop are available. I like to point out also that the web site will be the only way to register and submit contribution(s) both for oral or poster presentation.
If you have any intention of participating to the Workshop, it will be very useful for the organization receiving your pre-registration via the web site (beginning November 15th, 2009).
